About Us

Caloundra Power Boat Club Fishing Club

The Caloundra Power Boat Club (CPBC) opened on 18 February 1978 with no separate social club representing the fishing club in those early days. The CPBC Fishing Club (CPBCFC) was formed in the early 1980s with members travelling up from Brisbane and surrounds to compete in monthly competitions.

The CPBCFC has gone from strength to strength over the years with present membership exceeding 50 members plus our junior anglers. The Club encourages and supports junior angling throughout the Sunshine Coast by conducting an annual “Take a Kid Fishing Day” and a “School Fish Education Program” with the Golden Beach State School.
